New rules regarding microchipping your dog and vaccinating your pet, if applicable, and more, set to be in place this summer 2024
As you may or may not have heard, rules are changing for the travelling pet. As of August 1st, 2024, new health rules will be in place for dogs crossing the border from Canada into the United States. The rules are in place to protect people and pets.
The links below will take you to pertinent information to travel safely to and from. Please read the information set out by the CDC so you are prepared to travel with your pet safely. If you are travelling to or from before this date and returning after the set date of August 1st, speak to your veterinarian and have all your documents ready before you travel.

CDC requirements coming August 1st, 2024 Important information to know before you travel
This is a paragraph on CDC website:
"Dogs that do not meet all entry requirements or do not have accurate and valid forms will be denied entry to the United States and returned to the country of departure at the importer’s expense. These requirements apply to all dogs, including service dogs and dogs that were born in the United States."
